Wednesday 15th March sadly saw the landfill application submitted to Norfolk County Council for the former quarry on Wiggs Road, Haddiscoe to be filled with non-recyclable, inert materials over an eight year period!
Applicant: Landhaul Developments Ltd
Proposal: Partial infill with non-recyclable materials of former quarry with the intention to restore the site to arable farmland, grassland and ecological habitats; temporary installation of weighbridge and welfare unit to facilitate this.
The current deadline for objections is the5th April 2023, so not long!! (although we are trying to get this extended) Please, please we need you to object.
